Job Description
Structural Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Des Moines area with pay starting at 130K. This role will involve working on a variety of exciting projects and collaborating with colleagues to deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting structural analysis and design for buildings, bridges, and other structures
- Preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and calculations
- Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other team members
- Ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards
- Performing site visits and inspections as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Proficiency in structural design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or STAAD
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
