Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a talented Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in the Akron area with pay starting at 150K. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the structural design and analysis of various projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the structural design and analysis of projects from conception to completion
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure project requirements are met
• Perform structural calculations and analysis using industry software
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications
• Conduct on-site visits and inspections to assess structural conditions
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering
• Proficiency in structural design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or similar
• Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
