Senior Event Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Event Manager to join our dynamic team in New York City. As a Senior Event Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management, with proven experience in organizing a wide range of events from corporate conferences to gala dinners. The successful candidate must possess excellent leadership abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing event strategies and plans
- Overseeing event logistics, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor management
- Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of events
- Managing event staff and volunteers
- Conducting post-event evaluations to analyze the success of each event and identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning and management
- Proven track record of successfully organizing and executing large-scale events
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in event management software and tools
