Senior Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team in the Oakland area with pay starting at 140K. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing project specifications, preparing cost estimates, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure accurate project costing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimation, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of successfully estimating large-scale projects.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine accurate cost estimates
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and safety standards
• Present estimates and budgets to senior management and clients
• Track and analyze project costs throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
