Job Title: Preconstruction Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Preconstruction Manager to join our team in State College. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all preconstruction activities for construction projects. The Preconstruction Manager will work closely with the project management team to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate all preconstruction activities, including estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and value engineering.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to develop comprehensive project plans.
• Review project specifications and drawings to identify potential issues and ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and present preconstruction proposals to clients and stakeholders.
• Manage the bidding process and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors.
• Monitor and track project costs, schedules, and performance metrics.
• Provide regular updates to the project management team on preconstruction progress and potential risks.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in preconstruction management for commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
