Plumbing Designer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Plumbing Designer to join our team in the Norfolk area. As a Plumbing Designer, you will be responsible for designing plumbing systems for various projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing design and a passion for creating innovative and efficient solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design plumbing systems for new construction and renovation projects
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure design accuracy
• Create detailed drawings and specifications
• Perform calculations to ensure systems meet safety and regulatory standards
• Conduct site visits and inspections as needed
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing Design, or related field
• Proven experience in plumbing design, including proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
