Job Title: Patent Agent: Washington D.C.

Position Overview:

• Assist in preparing and prosecuting patent applications
• Conduct patentability and infringement searches
• Analyze and draft technical documents
• Communicate with clients and inventors

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with attorneys to support patent prosecution and counseling
• Review invention disclosures and provide feedback
• Manage patent portfolios and deadlines
• Participate in patent strategy meetings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field
• Registered as a Patent Agent with the USPTO
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and research abilities

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in patent prosecution
• Proficiency in patent search databases and tools
• Familiarity with IP laws and regulations
