Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patent Agent to join our team in Seattle. As a Patent Agent, you will be responsible for drafting, filing, and prosecuting patent applications, as well as conducting patentability and infringement searches. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in intellectual property law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and file patent applications
- Prosecute patent applications before the USPTO
- Conduct patentability and infringement searches
- Provide technical and legal support for patent portfolio management
- Assist in IP due diligence for M&A and licensing activities
Qualifications:
- Registered Patent Agent with the USPTO
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of patent laws and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
