Seeking a Litigation Paralegal with at least 3-4 years of experience, paralegal certificate is preferred. The ideal candidate should possess strong oral and written communication skills, type with speed and accuracy, effective organization skills and ability to manage work for multiple cases. We are interested in someone who does not just carry out tasks but invests in the cases in a substantive manner and offers value beyond the normal tasks. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe is required. Abilities needed include preparing legal documents and correspondence, analyzing, and summarizing medical records, scanning, managing calendaring and coordinating meetings, maintaining correspondence and pleadings files, ensure that documents are saved and filed into the appropriate workspaces/folders. Candidate must know proper formatting requirements for all Louisiana and Federal court documents and the ability to file, fax filing and e-file. Candidates should also be well organized and professional, capable of meeting deadlines, and adept at managing multiple complex projects.
