Paralegal Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Paralegal to join our legal team in the Houston area with pay starting 95K. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal proceedings and ensure the smooth running of our legal operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and agreements
• Conduct legal research and analyze laws and regulations to support case preparation
• Organize and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systems
• Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and evidence
• Help prepare for trial proceedings by organizing exhibits and assisting with other tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Paralegal or legal assistant
• Knowledge of legal terminology and principles
• Proficient in MS Office and legal research databases
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Associate's degree in Paralegal studies or related field
