Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Akron area with pay ranging from 100K-140K. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and products. Your expertise will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our mechanical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety and reliability.
• Developing project specifications and schedules, performing calculations, and preparing construction drawings.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Conducting research to inform engineering designs and evaluations.
• Evaluating mechanical systems and products by applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, and materials science.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience working as a Mechanical Engineer.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical design software and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
