Litigation Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Associate to join our legal team in the Newark area with pay starting at 200K. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling a variety of litigation matters and possess excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analysis for ongoing litigation cases
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Assist in case preparation and strategy development
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other attorneys
• Attend court proceedings and depositions

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the state Bar association
• 2+ years of experience in litigation practice
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
