Litigation Associate

We are seeking a dedicated Litigation Associate to join our team in Newark. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling litigation cases and possess excellent legal research and writing skills. As a Litigation Associate, you will work closely with our team of attorneys to provide top-notch legal services to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research on various issues related to ongoing cases
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Prepare for and attend court hearings and trials
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Assist with case management and strategy

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing
• 2+ years of experience in litigation practice
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
