Job Title: Commercial Litigation Attorney: Troy, MI 

Job Description:

• Represent clients in commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and business disputes.
• Handle all aspects of the litigation process, from initiation to resolution.
• Conduct legal research, develop case strategies, and provide sound legal advice to clients.
• Draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Appear in court, attend hearings, and argue on behalf of clients.
• Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Work collaboratively with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
• Keep abreast of legal developments and changes in the law related to commercial litigation.
• Maintain accurate and timely billing records.
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards and professional responsibility rules.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state of Michigan.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to handle a diverse caseload and work independently.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic legal environment.
• Client-focused with a commitment to providing high-quality legal representation.
