Legal Billing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Legal Billing Specialist to join our team in the Newark area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal billing processes and regulations to ensure accurate and timely invoicing for our clients. Key Responsibilities:

• Review and process attorney time entries and expenses for billing
• Generate and distribute invoices in compliance with client guidelines
• Communicate with attorneys and clients regarding billing inquiries
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in legal billing
• Familiarity with legal billing software (e.g. Clio, Tabs3)
• Strong understanding of billing processes in a law firm setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
