Job Description
Legal Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant to join our team in White Plains with pay starting at 80K. The ideal candidate will provide support to our legal staff by conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and assisting in case preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Organize and maintain legal files
- Assist with case preparation for hearings, depositions, and trials
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Legal Studies or related field
- Prior experience working as a Legal Assistant
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
