Job Description
Legal Assistant
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team in the Farmingdale with pay starting at 75K. This role will involve providing administrative support to our legal team and assisting with a variety of legal tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing legal documents and correspondence
- Organize and maintain legal files
- Conduct legal research and compile data
- Coordinate meetings and appointments
- Handle communication with clients and external parties
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
- Discretion and confidentiality
