Legal Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant to join our team in San Diego paying 70K+. The ideal candidate will provide support to our legal team and ensure smooth operations within the legal department.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and other legal documents.
• Organize and maintain documents in a paper or electronic filing system.
• Conduct legal research and compile data from various legal sources.
• Prepare and process legal documents and correspondence.
• Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for attorneys.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role.
• Knowledge of legal terminology and principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency in MS Office and legal research databases.
• Associate's degree in Legal Studies or related field preferred.
