Job Title: Legal Assistant

Job Summary:

• Support legal proceedings by conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and organizing and maintaining files.
• Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and meetings.
• Provide administrative support such as answering calls, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence.
• Ensure efficient case management by organizing and tracking case files and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough legal research and compile findings into reports for attorneys.
• Draft and proofread legal documents including pleadings, motions, memos, and correspondence.
• Organize and maintain physical and electronic files for easy retrieval and reference.
• Assist in preparing attorneys for court hearings, trials, and client meetings.
• Manage attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies or related field.
• Previous experience as a legal assistant or similar role preferred.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and MS Office suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
