A growing residential and commercial interior architectural design firm is seeking a dynamic Interior Designer/Project Manager for a full time, direct hire position in the St. Louis area. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation.
Desired Skills:
If you have a creative point of view, enjoy collaborating in a team environment yet also have a strong sense of ownership, the natural ability to problem solve and are well organized when working independently, you may be our next Project Manager. In this role you will lead all aspects of the project management cycle:
You will serve as the primary owner for your projects, and in doing so, support the Principal. This role includes being client facing and working closely with vendors so the ability to cultivate lasting relationships with both is key. It would also be ideal to have a knowledge base of trade only vendors.
Desired Qualifications:
Ideally, you will have completed an appropriate certificate program or have a design degree. Residential interiors experience of two or more years is preferred. Candidates MUST have a strong technical skill set with industry related programs such as AutoCAD, SketchUp and InDesign (NOTE: Candidates without drafting skills will not be considered). Please highlight this experience in your submission. A vehicle is also a must for independent travel to and from appointments with clients, vendors and the Boston Design Center.
