Job Title: Insurance Litigation Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Litigation Attorney to join our legal team in Lafayette. In this role, you will be responsible for handling insurance-related litigation matters on behalf of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of insurance litigation cases from initial investigation through trial or settlement
• Conduct legal research and analysis of insurance laws and regulations
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders
• Attend court hearings and represent clients in mediation and settlement conferences

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active state bar membership
• 1+ years of experience in insurance defense or coverage litigation
• Strong knowledge of insurance laws, regulations, and industry practices
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
