Job Description
Job Title: Insurance Defense Attorney
Position Overview:
- Provide legal representation to clients in insurance defense cases.
- Handle all phases of litigation from initial case assessment to trial.
- Work collaboratively with clients, colleagues, and legal support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis related to insurance defense cases.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
- Negotiate settlements and communicate with clients on case developments.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the state.
- 2+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
- Strong understanding of insurance law and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
