Job Title: Heavy Civil Estimator

We are currently seeking a dedicated Heavy Civil Estimator to join our team in Raleigh with pay starting at 120K. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating heavy civil construction projects with expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and project analysis. This individual will play a key role in helping our company secure profitable projects and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects.
• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary data for estimates.
• Review and analyze historical data to develop cost models and benchmarks for future projects.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
• Present estimates to management and participate in bid reviews and presentations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven experience as an estimator in heavy civil construction projects.
• Proficient in estimating software and MS Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
