Heavy Civil Estimator
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Heavy Civil Estimator to join our team in Nashville with pay starting at 130K. As a Heavy Civil Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing project plans, specifications, and requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy civil construction with expertise in estimating and cost analysis. You will play a critical role in helping our team secure new projects and deliver high-quality work to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate project costing
- Review and analyze historical data, subcontractor quotes, and material pricing
- Provide support during the bidding process
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction estimating
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
