Job Description
Geotechnical Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in the Newark area with pay starting at 100K. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting geotechnical investigations, analyzing data, and providing recommendations for construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct geotechnical investigations to assess site conditions
- Analyze soil and rock mechanics data
- Provide recommendations for foundation design and slope stability
- Prepare geotechnical reports
- Collaborate with engineering teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Experience with geotechnical software and analysis tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
