Job Description
Job Title: Geotechnical Engineer
Job Summary:
- Conduct geotechnical investigations and studies to assess site conditions
- Design foundations for structures based on soil analysis
- Provide recommendations for earthwork and slope stability
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure geotechnical considerations are integrated into designs
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform field investigations and collect soil samples
- Analyze data and prepare geotechnical reports
- Design retaining walls, foundations, and earth structures
- Conduct slope stability analyses
- Review construction plans and provide input on geotechnical aspects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Experience in geotechnical engineering and site characterization
- Proficiency in geotechnical software and analysis tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
