Fire Alarm Technician

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team in the Laurel area with pay starting at $50/hr. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems in commercial and residential buildings. Key Responsibilities:

• Install and program fire alarm systems according to blueprints and wiring diagrams
• Conduct regular inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems
• Troubleshoot and repair system malfunctions
• Provide technical support to customers and address their inquiries
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Technician or similar role
• Familiarity with fire alarm systems, components, and wiring techniques
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., NFPA)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent; Certification in fire alarm systems is a plus
