Job Description
Family Law Paralegal
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our legal team in DC. As a Family Law Paralegal, you will provide essential support to our attorneys in all aspects of family law cases.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence
- Conduct legal research on case law and statutes
- Organize and maintain case files and other legal documents
- Communicate with clients, court personnel, and other parties involved in cases
- Coordinate case schedules and maintain attorney calendars
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or related field
- Previous experience working as a Family Law Paralegal
- Proficiency in legal research and writing
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
