Job Description
Family Law Paralegal
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our legal team in Chicago. As a Family Law Paralegal at our firm, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys in all aspects of family law cases.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents and correspondence related to family law cases
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Interact with clients, courts, and other legal professionals
- Manage case files and maintain organized documentation
- Prepare and coordinate discovery requests and responses
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Family Law Paralegal
- Proficiency in legal research and document preparation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Paralegal certification is preferred
