Estimating Manager

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Estimating Manager to join our team in the Rochester area with pay starting at 140K. As an Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the estimating process and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team of estimators to ensure timely and accurate completion of all estimates
• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements
• Review and evaluate cost estimates, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project cost estimates
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to gather accurate pricing information
• Stay current on industry trends and pricing to ensure competitiveness in cost estimates

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in estimating and project management
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and leadership abilities
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
