Job Description
Job Title: Energy Attorney
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Energy Attorney to join our team in NYC with pay ranging from200K-300K. As an Energy Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation to clients in the energy sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy law and regulations, with a focus on advising clients on compliance, contracts, and litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer legal advice on energy projects, transactions, and regulatory issues
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings
- Stay updated on changes in energy laws and regulations
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy law
- Strong understanding of energy industry practices and regulations
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
