Director of Preconstruction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Preconstruction to join our team in Raleigh with pay starting at 185K. As the Director of Preconstruction, you will be responsible for overseeing all preconstruction activities, including estimating, budgeting, and planning. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the preconstruction team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop comprehensive preconstruction plans
• Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, and schedules for projects
• Conduct site visits and assessments to identify potential challenges and opportunities
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to address any preconstruction issues that may arise

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in preconstruction management, with a strong background in estimating and budgeting
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
