Director of Land Planning

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Land Planning to join our team in the Greater Alexandria area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of land planning and development projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage land planning projects from conception to completion
• Develop and implement strategic plans for land use and development
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve project goals
• Ensure compliance with zoning laws, environmental regulations, and other relevant guidelines
• Review and approve design plans, blueprints, and other project documentation
• Prepare and present reports to senior management and clients

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in land planning, zoning, and development projects
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal land use regulations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant tools is a plus
