Criminal Defense Attorney

We are seeking a highly skilled Criminal Defense Attorney to join our legal team in the Arlington area with pay starting at 140K. As a Criminal Defense Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients in criminal matters, including court appearances, negotiations, and preparing legal documents.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in criminal law, excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, and a passion for ensuring the fair and just treatment of clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal representation to clients facing criminal charges
• Conduct legal research and analysis on criminal laws and precedents
• Develop defense strategies and arguments
• Negotiate plea deals or settlements on behalf of clients
• Appear in court for trials, hearings, and other proceedings
• Prepare and file legal documents, such as motions and appeals

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the state bar as a practicing attorney
• Proven experience in criminal defense practice
• Strong courtroom presence and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High ethical standards and integrity
