Construction Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team in the Pensacola area. As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing project specifications and blueprints to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine accurate cost estimates
• Collaborate with the project management team to ensure accurate budgeting
• Prepare detailed material and labor estimates
• Identify cost-saving opportunities
• Review and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes
• Update and maintain a cost database for future reference

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role
• Proficiency in construction estimating software
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
