Requirements:

We are looking for a qualified Construction Estimator to our client in the Oakland, CA area. The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven work experience as a Construction Estimator.
• Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and materials.
• Proficiency in construction estimation software.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
• Ability to pay attention to detail and maintain accuracy.
• Good communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently when needed.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations.

Pay ranges from 100,000-135,000.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare estimates for construction projects based on project specifications and drawings
• Analyze and review project plans and blueprints to determine accurate cost estimates
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to gather necessary information for bidding purposes
• Utilize construction estimating software and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency
• Provide timely and detailed cost estimates for review and approval

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Proficiency in construction estimating software such as Procore, PlanSwift, or similar tools
