Chief Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Estimator to join our team in the Greater Newburgh. As the Chief Estimator, you will be responsible for leading our estimating department and overseeing all aspects of the estimating process. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and competitiveness of our project bids.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the estimating team in preparing accurate and timely project estimates
• Review and analyze project plans and specifications
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for estimates
• Identify and quantify cost factors, such as materials, labor, and time requirements
• Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures
• Track and report on project bid results and provide insights for improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience as a Chief Estimator or in a similar leadership role
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools
• Attention to detail and accuracy
