Attorney

We are seeking an experienced Attorney to join our legal team in Poughkeepsie. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law and a passion for delivering high-quality legal services. As an Attorney, you will be responsible for representing clients in various legal proceedings, providing legal advice, conducting research, and drafting legal documents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in court or before government agencies.
• Provide legal advice to clients on various complex litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research to support legal proceedings.
• Draft legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and pleadings.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Stay updated on changes in the legal landscape and update clients accordingly.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York state bar and in good standing.
• Proven experience working as a Litigation Attorney.
• Excellent knowledge of laws and legal procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
