Job Description
We represent insurers, brokers, and policyholders in complex insurance coverage, regulatory, and recovery disputes across the country. We have broad experience in nearly every line of insurance. And we are seeking an Associate Attorney to become a part of our team!
You will represent clients in legal proceedings, draw up legal documents, and advise clients on legal transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies
- Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
- Advise clients on business and legal transactions
- Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
Qualifications:
- Admission to the New York State bar
- 3-5 years legal experience
- Trial experience preferred
- Experience with coverage litigation and/or insurance regulations preferred
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
