Assistant Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Estimator to join our team in the Greater Pleasant Hill area. As an Assistant Estimator, you will play a key role in supporting our Estimating team in preparing accurate and timely project cost estimates.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects
• Collaborate with the Estimating team to ensure all aspects of the estimate are covered
• Utilize estimating software to input data and generate reports
• Research and gather information on materials, labor, and equipment costs
• Support in communicating with vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
• Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Prior experience in construction estimating is a plus
• Proficiency in using estimating software and MS Office Suite
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
